After a lot of brainstorming, we decided on the theme of “Staches or Lashes” where guests would have to guess if the baby was a boy or a girl based on whether they received a mustache or fake eyelashes. It was a huge hit, and I wanted to share my experience and tips for anyone else looking to plan a ‘staches or lashes gender reveal.
1. Decide on the Theme
The first step in planning any gender reveal is deciding on the theme. In this case, we wanted something that was both cute and interactive. We chose “Staches or Lashes” because it allowed us to play with traditional gender stereotypes while also involving our guests in the guessing game.
2. Invitations
Once you have your theme, it’s time to send out invitations. You can either make your own or purchase them online. We opted for DIY invitations using mustache and eyelash stickers, which added a personal touch to the invites.
3. Decorations
